You are exactly wrong at 7:25: the example given of having an LLM do your assignments in college for you in that way keeping you from gaining those critical thinking skills like having a robot lift weights for you is true. It is even training and testing the chat bot in the process instead of your own mind. It isn’t strengthening your mind faster like your steroids analogy—that would be closer to academic enhancing drugs, such as caffeine on tbe more safe side, and ADHD meds and illegal meds on the more extreme sides to increased focus and performance, which many college students do. Using AI to aid with any of these tasks is not giving you a benefit on your growth, but robbing you of your education.
