It will definitely result in some people not learning as much as they could about how to think critically. For people who are already intelligent, it is nothing more than a useful tool to help them process ideas and tasks faster. Personally, I think AI is not all that impressive. I frequently have to steer it where I need it to go, proving that it is not "in control" or even capable of complex problem solving. At no point have I ever felt that AI was doing anything that I could not do on my own. All it does is save me some time.
