There are currently no laws on the books on ai research. None. They cry China because that’s the way they stall any regulation. Playing on the zero-sum prehistoric mindsets of politicians. It’s pathetic but that’s why they can’t be in control. Oh and btw a significant percentage of ai researchers are Chinese nationals. So it’s bogus on its face.
