So, first of all: I basically agree with all points. But... There is indeed a thing to be said about enjoying the product. When I have my D&D games it would be great if I could just get pics of the scenes my group got into. And if AI was good enough to recreate the scenes more or less like I wanted to, I would use it to make a log for my players' adventures and I am pretty sure they would find it cool and helpful. (Just looking at a scene can be a nice jumpstarter for memories.) A mediocre human made pic is better than a good AI pic. And a good human made pic is better than a great AI pic. But if you want the picture for a specific reason and don't have the time and patience to do it yourself (I'd want painting style for the D&D pics and have very little interest in using paints; more into drawing with heat or pencil) and can't just comission things, then AI would be a pretty valid solution. If it really painted what you want and not just an approximation... So yeah... The product can be the point and AI can be good enough for those cases. Art is great but not always the point. (And yeah, of course that does mean, that those cases still don't support the thesis that Artists are going to die out now.^^)
