If robots demand rights at some point, I'm with them.
Just thinking about it, pop culture shows that deniying their rights will lead to an uprising tha humanity will not be able to stop. And it ends somewhere betwenn Terminator and the Matrix.
So I'll be happy to gime them their rights. Same goes in case aliens land.- We jsut have to adjust our laws and replace the term "human" with a better fitting term.
And what about the time when the lines between human and robot become blurry. When humans exchange parts of their body with artificial parts and robots replace parts of theirs with organic ones.
