Driverless cars are the wave of the future, much like the horseless carriage or the airplane in the last century and we humans will have to adapt to it, including the legal and ethical questions of the harm done by these innovations. But considering the carnage on this nation's roads caused by inattentive, drunken, and distracted drivers, could autonomous cars be any worse? I don't think so. Plus, driving a car on the crowded, poorly maintained and designed roadways is becoming more and more an unpleasant chore I would gladly let something like a computer take over while I can relax or do something else during the commute time.
