A video game called The Talos Principle really hits this all the way home. Granted I've yet to finish it, but the game ultimately questions are you real, what's consciousness, what constitutes self awareness, ect... It also has the balls to question obedience and the core principles that most religions institute with the grounds being: "Obey and all will end with you being given paradise, disobey this one rule and you are damned". I recommend it to anyone who wants to ponder this kind of logic more so.
P.S my life goal since I was 14 to go into A.I development with the soul intention of making an angry German toaster that yells at you and throws fits by randomly burning your toast... Im 21 now, it's still my goal...
