The trouble with the Harry argument is that so far, we haven't invented a single robot that could go beyond its programming. Even so called learning robots merely adapt their behavior within predetermined bounds. A robot programmed to make coffee, even if it learns what the customers like dynamically and comes up with new recipes, is never going to suddenly develop the ability to build a house.
