I can buy that in 20 years robots might be as intelligent as us and replace us in many ways... walking among us? No. Have you seen robots walking? They have a long way to go before a bipedal humanoid robot can manage three steps before falling on their faces. Nevermind walking the same badly paved, litter strewn footpaths that we have to traverse on a daily basis. At this stage a robot revolution would be halted by a couple of rogue plastic bags.
Maybe true artificial intelligence can design a pair of usable legs, because humans haven't yet figured it out.
