As much as there is political cost for getting into bed with certain lobbies, I don’t understand how politicians haven’t figured out that there is a HUGE political gain for aligning yourself AGAINST certain lobbies. Health insurance being one, and recently big tech and the AI lobby being another.
If a political candidate simply came out against the health insurance companies they would likely get my vote, almost regardless of their other positions
