This is the bad calculus that the article is talking about though.
States are banning new data centers and the public is pushing back hard everywhere. A lot of these enterprise AI tools require the same people who hate AI companies to actually adopt them. This is not an ideal spot to be in, you need raving fans to succeed.
It’s not like AI is just a database that sits in the corner that an executive buys, it requires end user adoption.
