What I learned that there's many models out there and new AI researchers who want to get paid big bucks and hired by AI big tech are putting all their eggs in LLM basket, and sidelining research in other models. This reduces the R&D of other viable AI models that can be more useful for specialized fields like science and medicine. Which is tragic.
