This will lower the threshold for use of force. If you're only sending a few thousand human service members and whatever number of air/land/sea drones... that works out to very few human casualties.
The public tends to be a lot more sensitive about our own casualties (vs "the other side").
Give it a very few more years and it'll be our drones vs their drones. Win/loss will be determined by the best combination of: access to resources, manufacturing capacity, drone design and software.
