The problem is, nobody is listening to us while we are screaming from the rooftops that this shit just doesn't work that well. They just keep laying people off because we are in endgame capitalism here. You should continue to be pessimistic, but not because AI is going to take the jobs, but because it's the excuse to lay everybody off and do a large scale code freeze on the industry where we just stop moving forward entirely.
