“*Departments of War operate on what is ***technically*** available to them.*” The word **technically** is very important here. US defense contractors have long achieved of things that weren’t “*technically*” possible at the time, and yet, they theorized, researched, developed, tested, and implemented new technology. Example: SR-71, F-117, etc. I would bet that the US MIL abilities on AI are far ahead (my guess: at least 5-10+ years) ahead of what the non MIL consumer has available to them.
