And for some reason, we're not sure how, but it seems Anthropic have figured out a way to engineer seriously capable systems. Even before OpenAI submitted before the Department of War, I found myself using Opus 4.6 far more than GPT 5.2. And the majority of people doing serious work also prefer Claude. They're undoubtedly the closest to AGI. Hopefully this administration does not find a way to torpedo their progress especially when they're near the finish line.
