We’re also seeing mass enshittification happening everywhere at a record pace. If you can push ai into being used and it does just barely well enough for someone to plug their ears and go “La la la, it’s working great!” then it doing a shitty job isn’t the speed break one might think. It just means we all spend more time and effort and sanity dealing with the shitty results, like arguing with an ai phone system for half an hour to solve something that a human could have handled in ten minutes.
