AI isnt a tech being aimed at consumers. Yes, companies have released a lot of consumer facing AI products, but everyone knows consumers dont have much use or desire for it. The real customers for AI are corporations looking to "lower labor costs".
I think people have gotten too accustomed to all the newest tech products and services being for them. This isn't one of those times.
A middle class boycott of AI would work about as well as an Amish boycott of iPhones.
