Well one of the things you are missing is the wealth shared by stock holders of the major tech corporations. Yes the mega wealthy get wealthier in this scenario but so do all of the people owning shares of these companies. Part of the reason you're seeing such a fractured economy right now is the ownership class (ownership of stocks and real estate) still has an enormous amount of wealth effect while the poor are struggling. For this AI takeover theory to function the poor would need stimulus and UBI for society to continue functioning. That would be funded by corporate tax and likely more debt spending. In reality it is likely we see less available jobs but not the complete elimination of jobs.
