Am I the only one who doesn’t have a problem with recipe sites? Yeh they nearly all have paragraphs of uninteresting backstory SEO crap but 9/10 have a “skip to recipe” button at the top of the page so I’ve never cared about it. And that SEO stuff wouldn’t even be necessary if it wasn’t for Google’s ranking algorithm. They favour “authoritative text” which is basically long-winded bullshit. It’s not like these people had a choice (if they wanted to get visitors from Google anyway). Once again people laud AI killing something off, but when these websites all disappear you’ll probably regret that the only source of recipes in the future is AI-generated.
