I have to admit, the instructor is correct. The students partaking in AI use are only hurting themselves. Like those days where we had the jocks bullying the nerds for homework so they could pass the class. Once they graduated, they were collectively stupid as hell and it showed plainly with their inability to adult in the real world. Not to mention their job prospects were all but invisible. Sure, you graduated this class or that grade, but you didn't actually LEARN anything, so you left school with no practical skills to lean on. So, yeah, the instructor is right here. The only ones that are being harmed are the ones using AI. They'll see quick that cheating has a huge downside.
