Right now all Ai have closed weight systems, like if you were to freeze your brain and all synaptic activity in a moment of time, you can interact with this brain through inputs, but the brain never learns anything new or has new insights, but once they have cracked the open weight model eg. Found a decent and safe solution for the Ai to continually change its own weights, and how to do so for each instance or per chat. I think then we will have true agi and the debate about it being alive will be much more difficult.
