I work in the film and tv industry and AI had had little effect on the amount of jobs. It's all about funding at the moment. Generative isn't massivly used in film and tv but has made more headway in commercials and shortform but has actually increased the time needed in post and with artists because of the way you have to work to make anything look good.
If anything AI will decrease production roles in the short to medium term but increase the need for vfx and finishing artists
