Tell me about it! The amount of terrible 'designed' artwork I've seen lately has been wild. Graphic design isn't just about things looking pretty, it's about formatting, accessibility and the delivery of the message/information. AI doesn't understand these things because the prompter doesn't (usually) understand these things. This is the job/hard work part of the graphic design that people don't see. AI can make a poster, but it can't understand all the processes that have gone into making that poster effective. Maybe this only works for graphic design that requires thought. Sure, the poster for your baby shower can be made through AI, but then you'd probably have used clipart and now hired anyone anyway.
