I can't even get AI to translate a web novel into English without adding its own scenes. My latest prompt instructs has: >1. Translate with the quality and readability of an official light novel, using standard English grammar and punctuation. **However, do not take creative liberties and add text when not contained in the provided text. ** ...and >4. ONLY translate the English equivalent of the Japanese input, with no additional text or comments added, even if the Japanese text contains only back and forth dialogue. ...and then >8. Don't forget rule 4. I STILL have to feed it a few paragraphs at a time so it doesn't hallucinate new scenes.
