I mean to be honest I had completely stopped using ai apart from occasional scripts we wrote for small specific tasks. Then last week I installed gemini in vs code and the code quality is miles ahead with 2.5 pro. It just completes the boilerplate code easily now. And some specific modification to a function is also perfect now. Writing fresh code though is still not upto the mark but I think within 6 months it might seeing the progress. I work in a faang company and all my team is using it since last one month.
