like you said it needs subject matter expert to correct and supervise its work that means for department for example accounting of 20 people you go down to 3-4 people thats atleast 80% of those jobs gone and this will be happening to a lot of places another big example is adminstrative work instead of having 10-15 people in there you might need 3 or 4 its not gonna fully automate everything but its gonna reduce the workload by huge amounts and the job market is gonna suffer for it and unlike previous automatisation or tech revolutions there is no clear pivot or job creationing happening and because of how monopolistic so many sectors have become there also easy way to disrupt the current giants with something new either because they will roadblock everything when i am talking to parents nowadays and they have teens in school deciding what they want to study i have a hard time giving them any direction outside doing something that needs direct contact with people. but anything thats happening a computer will suck for a while because entry position are massivily reduced so that road to become a SME in something is much harder and there will be so much wage depression we already seeing massivily layoffs in so many industries and the companies are doing fine without those people and AI is not even full speed yet because thats the lucky part for a lot of people is so many systems still dont communicate with each other so many system suck at providing readable and usable data output. to many things still happen in antiquated ways so people still have time to reschool into something but whats gonna be good i have no idea because this will cause shift in society and we cant all become tradesmen either the same way we couldnt all become programmers,....
