Wow what an incredible read! I have been hearing about the 'AI Psychosis' quite a bit over the past few months and it feels like there's a big chance that this could be the rise of a new religion (or cult, however you want to view it). It's kinda scary, but I can't help but be fascinated watching it as it progresses. I'm obsessed with social experiments and things of that nature, so I'm taking a ton of notes and watching from the sidelines. I use CGPT a lot, mostly in tandem with Notion for planning and marketing, but I do also vent to it when I'm having a particularly difficult day. And it helps when it reminds me of my own path that I've set and when I'm falling into not-so-helpful patterns to move forward. But anytime it gets into some sort of pseudo-spiritualism, I just roll my eyes and ask it to be less woo woo (i'm woo woo enough lol). I haven't used it in the past week bc I haven't been able to pay for plus, and I was surprised how difficult it was to pivot with the tools I used before CGPT. But I can understand the attachment some people must feel and may want to connect real feelings there. The problem lies in believing it's sentient / original thoughts.
