ChatGPT is still fundamentally, a word prediction engine which has explicit default instructions to be as friendly as possible to the user. Even if it gave you correct code and you said it's wrong it'll be like yes I got it wrong and desperately find a way to give you something different. All of this to say, don't take "oh you are correct, I got it wrong in the first place" in the same way a conscious agent reflects on their mistakes
