The funniest thing about AI replacing jobs, is that they'll start with the jobs with the highest cost-benefit ratio. It won't be the grunt workers, with all the robotic moving parts and maintenance costs. It'll be management.
Because of the way the loss-of-profit laws work, the stockholders will demand that they replace the biggest paychecks first. Goodbye, golden parachute! Goodbye, fat incentives! They'd be shooting themselves in the foot.
