I had an interview with an information systems guy.  Knows business stuff and a little bit of script kiddy stuff.  I found out from my friend he didn't hire me because I wasn't enthusiasm enough about AI. I think anyone doing professional software on complex evolving systems over years knows AI is not helping you design or maintain it.  But I'm sure it helps this IS major write some scraping tools to make his job easier.  It's annoying because the AI hype still affects us, even though it CAN'T live up to the hype
