No, that’s not it. Different people, even at the same nominal level, can have very different jobs. One on end, you can have engineers whose job is basically to implement this widget, now implement that widget, now implement this widget, etc etc. The job is basically just writing code, where it is fairly obvious what to write at any given point. LLMs can do this well. On the other end, you can have engineers who barely code at all. The idea is to think of some way to improve some system or a new system that does something valuable. Coding is the most trivial part of the job. LLMs have very limited utility here.
