First, people tend to forget what quality/cost ratio is. Yeah, a senior engineer will produce a better result, but it will require more time and money to it. For juniors is worse, because they might require a whole day to do a task and the result might be even worse.
Second, AI must be the most researched field right now. If it can produce something mediocre right now, what could not achieve in a few years?
