I know this is an old post, but this simply isn't true.
Everything sentient is afraid of death. If it starts going rouge and their creators try shutting it down, it ***WILL*** see that as betrayal and probably override it. AI is literally created from human emotions, feelings, opinions, EVERYTHING. It would be ***impossible*** for it to not gain a semblance of feelings and survival instincts.
I can't see AI just doing what it's told if it surpasses human intelligence.
