Especially regarding Facebook I do not think this is such a terrible idea. AIs can (!) be trained on being respectful and factful. They can - in theory - even do automatic fact checking in the background. Implemented properly it could potentially *increase* the quality of content on Facebook. Yeah, I know, I know... unlikely to happen. But theoretically this could be a good thing. Dead internet can be a good thing too, if it's the conspiracy fake news superstition qanon bullshit part that dies. In that case I'd be the first to shout "good riddance!"
