Those projects sound mediocre if other people on other teams are joining as “devs” to finish up projects that should’ve been for IT. My company is using AI for development but just as a tool. I don’t use Google much anymore and push things out faster, but it can’t automate 100%. I’ve been looking for improvements in the system and processes for other departments. I think the goal is to not be a code monkey, but an architect finding and solving problems. Unfortunately, the days of “knowing” a language to code is leaving.
