It's not just advertisers that buy the info, the big money is with companies for things like market research so they can use it to refine products and even predict trends for their target group; largely takes away the need for focus groups as your "group" is now an entire population. It would be a guarantee that they are now using AI to sift through all that data to make it even more focused for what they want. I would even go so far in saying there are companies that are taking the raw data, doing the heavy lifting with AI, and offering their services as a turn key solution to those that want it..
