This is happening with every single thing you have. Your phone, your smart TV listens to you, you roomba sends your floor plans, your tempurpedic bed sends you sleep patterns and room noise, etc.
They all sell it to data brokers and there are no laws around it at all. No integrity requirements, no consequences.
