They don’t know that llama 3 will change the game, if not mistral or alibaba’s qwen team. In a year or two, we will have GPT-4 level models nearing the cost of GPT-3.5, and it will be open source which is huge. Microsoft and OpenAI are having a good time right now, but the LLM space is about to get commoditized FAST.
