I for one will stop openly proclaiming how bad Republicans are when they stop trying to ban books, protect classism, promote authoritarianism, outlaw personal liberty, imprison groups that vote against them, and so on. It's often very relevant to talk about how bad Republicans are because they have influence in most things worth talking about. You can't even talk about the fucking weather without seeing Republican influence.
