First lesson in research methods was how to find primary sources using an encyclopedia. I also had students submit topics of further study for one course and had ChatGPT devise outlines for each. We then compared to see how it did. The students found this interesting and learned more in that lesson than if I had simply fed it to them. Teach the tool, not fear. The tool wins every time.
