Is there really no one experimenting with code rewriting AI yet?
If so, Seems like just a semantic formality. We are already cyborgs rewriting our code, it’s just a matter of the human half intervening less and less on the outlier projects. We’ve had evolutionary programming for decades and viruses already spreading by digital Darwinism, so to say it’s not happening yet would only be true in some narrow technical sense
