Great for production and efficiency from a business perspective. Horrible for an individual’s critical thinking, analysis skills, capacity to learn, and psychological well-being. People don’t like to think for themselves in the first place, so AI is appealing because of the convenience (again, great for business). I fear that down the road, we’ll be too reliant on AI, and a few well-placed EMPs would take us back to the Stone Age. The vast majority of the population (especially in the US) don’t know how to grow food, hunt, build anything, or just be generally self-sustaining. We’ll always need laborers and blue-collar workers because they are the people with an actual understanding of the building blocks of society who could rebuild in case of disaster.
