What amuses most about the reaction to ChatGPT/Bing (LLMs in general) is that from what I've read most AI researchers don't seem to see it as a significant breakthrough for the field. Read an article in the New Yorker where it's described as a blurry JPEG of the web; a "lossy text-compression algorithm". Imagine the chaos that will ensue with true AGI...
