Unfortunately, people who can't tell the difference between an OBVIOUSLY faked social media video WITHOUT deepfake and a real one will continue to believe anything no matter how fuckin' stupid it is.
I just watched some ridiculously stupid video trending on Facebook where a woman breaks up with her cheating boyfriend by having him keep pulling out notes as if undressing her. It's so massively contrived you'd think it was written by the Fast & Furious team. But people are CONVINCED it's totally real.
