I agree, this is not the right approach but tribalism is in human nature. We rarely, if ever, act or think as a species.
I’m was not suggesting that developing nations should not try to reduce emissions. I was just trying to highlight that this is a complex multidimensional issue. But in my opinion, the onus is more heavily on the developing nations to fix the hole we’ve dug ourselves into.
