It's more fun when you think about AI happening in a quantum environment. Meh. Humans are pretty random, and that's who's setting up this whole shebang.
I also don't think deciding solutions should come before defining a problem. The problem this is solving, mostly, is the lack of inspiration investors have found in other human endeavors. AI *looks* really smart. "Smart" is the new shiny. That's a good direction to be headed, but it's not the panacea we all want it to be.
