Very good decision, but I think this tech should be open-sourced for all. Once the tech exists government bans or not the bad actors will continue using it, the concentration of powerful tools like facial recognition is not good.
CIA, Taliban.. + other terrorist organizations and big corporations don't give law much shit.
Rather decentralizing these tools will defuse its power from being abused.
(Imagine only big corps have access to electricity or computer)
