Kind of like how the media elevated her to prominence all the while she was asking them to listen to scientists, but they'd rather put her outrage over that on stage than whoever she was asking them to listen to. This is why I was annoyed by her getting so much coverage in the first place. She adds nothing but emotion to the conversation beyond what the actual experts say, and even shuts it down (unintentionally on her part I'm sure) by being a child, and therefore beyond criticism according to most people in the political sphere. It's so frustrating because the same people platforming her could literally just platform the real authorities she's drawing on to make her points and with far more credibility and weight to them. I guess the conversation on climate change is just another casualty of the profit incentive in media.
