Second of all, I can't wait until a few decades in the future where human greenhouse gas emissions are cut to irrelevant levels and people finally clue in that climate change will continue regardless. I find it funny that people genuinely think that the climate should be static and can somehow be kept stationary to suite our ideals or the ideals of other species, because of our protective instinct. No, the environment is dynamic and will continue to change whether we like it or not; it's a process that has been happening since the earth came into existence and will continue until the earth is nothing more than a barren rock. Whether that puts species, including ourselves, into extinction, is not something the earth is 'concerned' with; it's not a conscious being. People tend to forget that.
